Activities Assistant

The Lindley Inn Assisted Living Community, located in The Plains, Ohio, is seeking part time Activities Assistant (approximately 20 hours/week). The Activities Assistant is responsible for implementing programs and activities for the community residents that are varied, reflect the interests, values and beliefs of the residents and provide life-enriching opportunities for residents and the community. This responsibility is for all areas of the campus and for all the resident service levels. Overview of duties: Facilitate socialization among residents through group activities or one-on-one activities. Invite and remind residents to participate in planned activities. Promote activities in a way that is interesting, clinically appropriate and that fosters resident participation. Chaperone resident activities outside the community. Plan, coordinate and help decorate the community for special events, various seasons, and for holidays. Identify and requisition needed supplies for planned activities. Support and promote the Community vision and mission statement. Maintain confidentiality of all resident or employee information as required.
