Collaborating with global experts, you'll contribute to the development of real-world solutions that power the networks of tomorrow.Position: Software Development Engineer TraineeDuration: Full-time 8h/day, 6 months contract with the possibility to extendLocation: Hybrid in Athens, GreeceEducation Recommendations: Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;Developing embedded software components such as operating systems, drivers, and infrastructure modulesWorking with network system applications and protocols, including HTTP2, GTPv1/v2, Diameter, RADIUS, and DNSExploring network management practices in configuration, performance, and fault managementReceiving hands-on training in system software development, test software, simulators, and internal toolsProgressively preparing to take part in real-world network system software product development by the end of your internshipMust have:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on software developmentSolid understanding of operating systems, data types, data structures, data management algorithms, and core programming principlesDemonstrated problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentSelf-motivated and quick to learn new concepts, tools, and technologiesNice to have:A proactive mindset with a strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to take initiativeAbility to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environmentComfortable working in an international, multicultural team and open to diverse perspectivesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectivelyA passion for continuous learning, growth, and personal developmentWe kindly request you to submit your application in English.Advancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era.
