We are dedicated to our team's continuing education and encourage growth both at work and in life.Position SummaryThe Texas Direct Operations Closing Manager oversees escrow, closing, and customer service teams to ensure consistent delivery of compliant, accurate, and high‑quality closing experiences across Texas markets. This leadership role is responsible for staff development, performance management, workflow oversight, operational quality, and collaboration with underwriting, sales, and support departments. The Manager is accountable for driving team excellence while maintaining compliance with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulations.Essential FunctionsLead, mentor, and evaluate Escrow Officers, Escrow Assistants, and closing staffOversee daily closing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory complianceImplement and enforce policies, procedures, and quality standardsCoordinate with underwriting, title production, and corporate leadershipManage staffing levels, workflow distribution, and productivity metricsResolve complex file issues, escalations, or customer concernsSupport training, onboarding, and professional development programsAnalyze closing trends and operational performance to identify improvementsFoster a collaborative, service‑focused team environmentRepresent operations in company meetings, initiatives, and cross‑department projectsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation, Formal Training, and Experience5+ years of Texas escrow and closing experiencePrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of TDI escrow regulations and Texas real estate practicesExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume environmentStrong technical proficiency with closing and title softwareWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential job functions.
