Electrical Test Engineer

Location: Ronkonkoma, NY Education: BSEE or MSEE The successful candidate will have an education and background in electrical engineering. The candidate must able to work with circuits based on analog, digital, uP, FPGA, memory and special function technologies. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, developing testing procedures and performing the tests themselves. The testing must be detailed and accurate, accounting for both equipment precision and testing methodology. The procedures must be streamlined to minimize test time while maintaining accuracy. The candidate must be: Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. Many of the test activities will require capturing the data in Excel with embedded calculations and test result determination. Skilled in operating test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DVMs, computer based test programs, frequency counters, signal generators and spectrum analyzers. Capable of basic measurements of AC, DC and digital circuits. Capable of performing tasks autonomously and correctly. An excellent English reader, writer and speaker.
