As part of our expanding renewable and nuclear initiatives, we are seeking a Clean Energy Partnerships & Origination Specialist to support technical outreach, engagement strategy, and lead development that drives clean energy growth across the state.In this role, you will design and implement integrated outreach and engagement strategies, translate complex clean energy and market data into accessible materials, and strengthen CRM workflows and analytics to support partnership development. You will collaborate closely with NYPA’s Nuclear and Renewables development teams to prepare capability briefs, fact sheets, opportunity assessments, and presentations that communicate technical concepts clearly to external stakeholders.The position also supports multi‑channel engagement activities, including events, stakeholder outreach, and the development of high‑quality engagement collateral. You will help identify opportunities within New York’s evolving energy landscape, track lead engagement, and contribute to building strong relationships across industry, community, and government audiences.This is an excellent opportunity for an industry‑minded professional with a passion for clean energy, data‑driven insights, and cross‑functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, comfort with CRM and digital engagement tools, and a drive to contribute to NYPA’s mission of advancing a cleaner, more resilient energy future for New York.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development, design and implementation of technically informed marketing strategies that align with overall business goals and brand positioningMonitor and track lead engagement and outreach performance across marketing campaigns and events, ensuring data accuracy and updating lead statusesConduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needsEvaluate outreach performance and recommend data‑driven improvements using quantitative analytics and CRM insightsMaintain, refine, and analyze Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows, ensuring high quality data management, segmentation logic, and performance dashboardsTranslate market data into clear external facing materials including capability briefs, fact sheets, opportunity assessments, and presentationsDevelop high quality engagement collateral that communicates complex energy conceptsKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to work in a fast-moving, dynamic and team-oriented environmentStrong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindsetDemonstrated ability to collaborate across functionsExperience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Power PointStrong knowledge of marketing, business development fundamentals and experience applying them in a technical or energy-sector environmentFamiliarity with clean energy technologies ( nuclear, renewables, storage) and policy drivers shaping New York’s clean energy marketsProficiency in CRM platforms and data analytics with the ability to build and interpret performance dashboards and segmentation logicAbility to synthesize technical information and communicate in clear, concise formats to external audiencesStrong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort working with quantitative data, energy metrics and market analysesEducation, Experience and CertificationsBachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant fieldMinimum 4 years’ experience working preferredCRM experience strongly preferredExperience with marketing, technical communications, business development or related energy-sector work preferredExperience with renewable energy, public-power environment or tech start-ups strongly preferred Physical RequirementsApproximate travel: 25%The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $106,000-$146,300.
