Join us, and find your runway to growth, innovation, and success.About The RoleAs a Technical Services Controller, you support aircraft reliability by providing expert technical assistance to Line Maintenance teams, including Contract and RON Maintenance, as well as Heavy Check. You collaborate closely with Maintenance Control, Records, and Engineering to monitor aircraft history and proactively identify chronic issues. By analyzing daily pilot reports and maintenance data, you detect trends and recurring discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution and driving continuous improvement in fleet performance.A Day In The LifeYour role will focus on supporting safe, efficient, and compliant aircraft operations. Typical responsibilities include:Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with Maintenance Controllers and Maintenance Planning to ensure timely maintenance actions, setting the appropriate priority for chronic or repeat aircraft discrepancies. Troubleshooting Support: Generate follow-up work scopes to assist with troubleshooting and repairs on both chronic and critical items that affect on-time performance or equipment airworthiness. Event Tracking: Update and maintain the database for significant mechanical interruption events, such as Air Turn Backs, Diversions, and High-Speed Rejected Takeoffs. Repair Instructions: Ensure that aircraft systems repair instructions are issued promptly for all chronic and repeat discrepancies. Tooling & Equipment: Assist in identifying and recommending tooling and test equipment improvements. Collaboration & Flexibility: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Manager. Training Compliance: Maintain familiarity with training requirements and ensure your certifications are up to date before performing assigned functions and tasks. RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED Avionics and Technical troubleshooting experience 4-6 Years of line maintenance/technical operations experience with a Part 121 or 135 operator Experience in the use of maintenance reference materials including Manufacturer's Maintenance Manuals, Structural Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Component Manuals, etc. Preferred ExperienceBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training Previous experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor 6-8 Years of line maintenance/technical operations experience with a Part 121 or 135 operator NCATT AET Certificate FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License Skill, Licenses, & CertificationsA current and valid Driver’s license is required with Real ID A Valid Passport Violation-free A&P Certificate Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and task management skills Expertise in applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), General Operation Manuals, and MELs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within a cross-functional team environment Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Ability to work within a team-oriented, high-paced work environment Ability to work 10 or 12 hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to travel on occasion when requested Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching and prolonged periods of sitting Ability to occasionally lift 5-20 pounds Benefits & PerksHealth Benefits: New Crewmembers become eligible for coverage on the 1st of the month following the start date, with medical plans beginning at just $110/month. 100% employer paid dental & vision, plus up to $2,100 annually for HSA contribution.
