Operations Manager

Overview As Operations Manager, you will lead the magnetics operations across two facilities to drive manufacturing excellence and meet revenue and delivery targets. You will work closely with planning, engineering, and procurement to optimize backlog, schedules, and capacity. You will develop and coach a small manufacturing team, scale best practices, and lead capital investments in automation and standardization. ResponsibilitiesManage On-Time Delivery, backlog and quality to meet customer expectations; coordinate build plans with planning and supervisorsLead a manufacturing team of 3–5 direct reports; conduct performance appraisals and develop talentEnsure accurate work instructions and scale best practices across areasDrive process improvements, system enhancements, and productivity gains through team initiativesIdentify and execute capital expenditures focused on automation, quality, standardization, and equipment refreshCollaborate with Procurement to manage raw material inventory and expedite shortagesWork with Engineering on new products, prototypes, and transition to full-scale productionSupport forecasted orders from Sales by building ahead and aligning capacityOversee cross-site operations between New York and Mexico to meet objectivesTravel to facilities and customer locations to align operations Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering or related field; 5+ years in manufacturing managementExperience with ERP/MRP systems and production schedulingDirect experience with Glovia ERP is a bonusProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelBilingual Spanish requiredWillingness to travel 25–50% (may exceed 50% during onboarding)Strong leadership and interpersonal abilitiesExcellent organizational, planning and decision-making skillsAbility to manage a diverse, cross-functional teamERP/MRP expertiseGlovia ERP (bonus)Microsoft Excel (advanced)
