Shipping And Delivery SpecialistPurpose statement: This position performs other shipping-related duties such as picking, packing and verifying customer orders.
Essential Functions:
Delivers packages to end users/receiving agents
Organizes and follows most efficient route for deliveries
Delivers other zone packages to the airport for proper routing and delivery
Organizes/routes delivery paperwork. Collects delivery signatures and routes delivery manifests for customer service to view
Acts as liaison for IDT in terms of customer requests, special handling, delivery logistics, etc.
Delivers marketing material and customer contact/sales information, as needed
Performs routine maintenance/cleaning on delivery vehicle (cleaning inside/outside of vehicle, monitoring fluid levels, replenishing fuel)
Picks customer orders to support order processing
Adheres to safety regulations, SOPs, and contamination controls
Communicates with all levels of peers and management
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Manages expenses and reconciles transactions in a timely manner
Education, Licensure, Certification, Registration:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
Professional Experience:
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
Previous courier experience preferred
