This performance and the strength of the portfolio underpin the Company’s purpose of growing long-term value for shareholders, our people, and our communities by mining safely and responsibly.Job DescriptionThe opportunityWe are seeking an experienced Principal Resource Development Geologist to join our team in a senior, technically focused leadership role reporting to the General Manager Technical Services.This role is responsible for the development, accuracy and ongoing improvement of Mineral Resources to support medium and long‑term mine planning across our operations. You will lead geological teams across site and Perth‑based functions, providing strategic direction and ensuring high quality geological models are delivered to support safe, efficient and profitable mining operations.This is a pivotal role working closely with Operations, Exploration and Technical stakeholders to ensure near mine resource definition, grade control and geological services are aligned with production and Life of Mine plans.The Main Responsibilities Of This Role Include Champion safety, environmental and cultural heritage compliance across geological activities Lead and continuously improve geological systems, standards and processes Deliver Mineral Resource definition and management to support Life of Mine and medium‑term planning Oversee geological modelling and data quality assurance Provide specialist input into structural, geometallurgical, geotechnical and waste characterisation studies Develop annual drilling programs, forecasts and budgets Set drilling targets and priorities in collaboration with Operations and Exploration Provide geological support to surface and underground mining operations Ensure timely delivery of accurate geological models for grade control and near mine resource definition Act as (or support) the Competent Person for JORC‑compliant Resource reporting Provide technical input into feasibility studies, evaluations, acquisitions and capital projects Prepare and present geological updates to senior and executive management Lead, mentor and develop site and corporate geology teams About You Desired Skills and ExperienceTo Be Successful For This Role, You Will Have Tertiary qualification in Geology Extensive experience in resource development and geological support for surface and underground hard rock operations, preferably gold Demonstrated experience as a JORC Competent Person Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi‑site technical teams Proven ability to translate geological data into operational and planning outcomes Sound business judgement with a proactive, safety‑first mindset Excellent communication, presentation and technical reporting skills What We Can Offer Career development opportunities Collaborative work environment where your input matters Employee service awards and employee referral incentive Supportive and highly experienced leadership team Wellbeing support for you and your family for personal and professional matters (EAP) Competitive salary with annual incentives As Regis Resources continues its evolution from mid-tier gold miner to a leading Australian gold producer, this is a unique opportunity to join Regis.
