In a world dominated by screens, we manufacture premium vinyl play systems that get families back outside.We are looking for a Head of Business Development who is obsessed with growth, hungry for a challenge, and ready to turn RuffHouse into a household name across the USA.The RoleAs a key member of our Leadership Team, you will own the "Growth Engine." This is a dual-threat role: you are a master of strategic partnerships and a leader of people. You will be responsible for:National Expansion: Building our brand presence from a regional powerhouse to a national leader.The Partnership Playbook: Identifying, pitching, and closing strategic partnerships with:Resellers: Playground dealers, big-box retailers, and local backyard supply stores.Referral Sources: Landscapers, architects, and home builders.Brand Adjacent Partners: Collaborating with brands that share our "Create > Consume" values.Team Leadership: Directing our internal sales team to hit aggressive targets and managing our external marketing agency to ensure every dollar spent drives high-intent leads.Strategic Scaling: Using your experience to help us navigate the "growing pains" of scaling a manufacturing brand.Who You AreThe Closer: You have a proven track record of scaling a brand (ideally in the $5M–$20M+ range). You don’t just "network"—you sign contracts.The Strategist: You understand how marketing and sales must work in a feedback loop. You know how to hold an agency accountable.The Cultural Fit: You believe in human connection. You are "hungry" but humble, and you’d rather build something great than manage a status quo.The Experience: 5-10+ years in Business Development, Sales Leadership, or Brand Growth. Experience in home services, construction, or outdoor consumer goods is a major plus.
