Job Description Job Title: LifeguardPosition Summary:The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all members and guests in and around the waterfront/pool area. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and adherence to all safety protocols.Position Details:Seasonal Dates:June 1st – September 1stHourly Rate:$18.00/hourSchedule:Fridays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PMSaturdays: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PMSundays: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PMKey Responsibilities:Maintain constant surveillance of the pool/waterfront area to ensure the safety of all patronsEnforce all safety rules and regulationsMonitor weather conditions and takeappropriate actionwhen necessarySet up and remove "No Lifeguard on Duty" signage when applicableRespond quickly and effectively to emergenciesProvide first aid and CPR whenrequiredKeep the area clean, organized, and hazard-freeRequirements:Must hold a current Lifeguard Certification (including CPR/AED)Must be attentive, responsible, and able to react quickly in emergency situationsStrong communicationand interpersonal skillsPolicies & Expectations:Lifeguard uniform must beworn at all timeswhile on dutyNo cell phone use while on dutyMust remain alert andfocused at all timesOne (1) 30-minute lunch break will be provided during scheduled shifts.Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.Equal Employment Opportunity, Drug Free Workplace
