Fighting H.A.R.D Foundation Rare Disease Warrior Scholarship: (HHS Students)This scholarship was created by Fighting H.A.R.D. Foundation, a nonprofit 501c3 organization with the mission of helping kids with rare diseases and chronic illnesses to not feel alone. The foundation was started to provide hope, happiness, and support for those in the rare disease community.One (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from Howell High School.Selection CriteriaStudent must have a rare disease, or have a sibling who has a rare diseaseStudent must display optimism and kindnessStudent must be pursuing further educationVolunteer efforts of the student will be considered in the review processApplication CriteriaHigh School TranscriptResume or description of community service activitiesEssay of 250 words or less that addresses the following prompt: "How has rare disease impacted your life, and how do you plan on using your experiences for the good of others?"Selections will be made by the Fighting H.A.R.D.
