Crooker Construction is looking to hire a safety conscious candidate to join the team as a Tack Truck Driver on a paving crew. The primary responsibility of the role will be to drive the truck and spray liquid asphalt tack on the roadway in preparation for the paving crew to install hot mix asphalt. In addition to driving the tack truck and operating the tack sprayer, the role will also be responsible for assisting the paving crews with other duties as necessary and may include hauling small equipment to and from job sites. This position is full time. Year-round work may be available based on an individual's desire to work year-round, the winter workload, and his/her skillset. Requirements for all candidates: Must have a valid CDL B or A with a tanker endorsement Working knowledge of paving projects Must have a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be willing to work the necessary schedule which may include long hours, nights, and/or weekends Benefits: The company is 100% employee owned.
