About The Role:
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering department at Envysion, a Motorola Solutions company. In this role, you will be integral to developing and maintaining high-quality enterprise video security and business analytics solutions tailored for the quick-service restaurant and retail industries. The QA Engineer will work within a small, agile team, contributing to the design, execution, and management of testing strategies that ensure our software products meet the highest standards of reliability, functionality, and performance. This position offers the opportunity to influence product development, improve testing practices, and support continuous delivery of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security for our clients.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software applications 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQAssociate’s degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience
- Experience with applications that facilitate customer order to service delivery
- Relational SQL skills with the ability to execute DML to support testing activities
- Ability to write high-quality functional tests verifying feature soundness and performance
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and incorporate customer feedback
Responsibilities:
- Participate actively as part of a collaborative development team, influencing product direction and quality standards
- Plan, organize, and prioritize comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure thorough coverage
- Review and validate test plans independently to guarantee reliable and efficient software systems
- Set up and manage test environments that simulate real-world scenarios and customer configurations
- Identify, record, and communicate software defects with clear, actionable details for timely resolution
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality management system processes and procedures
- Perform system setup, software installation, configuration, and peripheral equipment integration
- Install and upgrade hardware and software components including servers, cameras, and other devices
- Support automated testing initiatives, including Salesforce configuration and Apex deployments where applicable
