Job DescriptionPart Time Night Shift - TriHealth Good Sam HospitalLocation: 375 Dixmyth Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45220Work Schedule Part Time - (48 hours bi-weekly) 7pm - 7:30am 3rd Weekend rotation 3rd Holiday rotation Job OverviewAs an Acute Care Tech working at the Good Sam Hospital Mother Baby Unit, you will assist with basic activities of daily living and perform designated treatments and procedures under direct nursing supervision. You will support both patients and staff by completing non-direct care tasks and clerical duties as assigned. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will communicate with respect and compassion while using telecommunication devices to relay information. Maintains competency of tasks in which the PCA has been trained. Completes assigned tasks within required timeframe. Seeks clarification from the nurse when in doubt about how to proceed.Maintains a safe environment. Reports safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Completes safety event report as necessary. Complies with Infection Control policies. Demonstrates knowledge of safety/emergency policies and procedures and appropriately corrects any identified hazards.Communicates effectively with others. Reports problems in completing assignment/tasks in a timely manner to the appropriate person. Documents observations and tasks performed.
