Technical Project Manager
Overview
As a Technical Project Manager at MACOM, you will oversee a portfolio of technology development projects in RF, photonics, and packaging. You will track cost, schedule, technical progress, risks, and resources while coordinating with engineering and leadership. ResponsibilitiesOversee execution of technology development projects (internal and external, including government or customer-funded)Track cost, schedule, technical progress, risks, resources, and deliverablesCoordinate with engineering teams and leadership; develop dashboards, forecasts, and status reportsLead project reviews and action tracking; manage technical proposals, compliance, cost modeling, BOEs, and pricing submissionsCoordinate contract administration, negotiations, reporting, and closeout activities
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business, or related field8+ years of technical program/project management experienceTechnical background in RF, microwave, mmWave, photonics, semiconductors, or related technologiesExperience managing cost, schedule, performance, risks, resources across multiple projectsExperience developing schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and cost estimatesDemonstrated success supporting or executing government-funded technology programsStrong executive communication skillsstrong communicationcross-functional collaborationstakeholder managementRFmicrowavemmWave
