As a certified GAF Master Elite contractor, we uphold the highest standards in the industry.JOB SUMMARYThe Outside Sales Account Manager at FW Walton plays a key role in driving commercial roofing sales by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients. This position focuses on identifying prospects, presenting solutions, and closing deals while maintaining deep knowledge of commercial roofing systems. The role also supports strategic sales initiatives and works closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESDevelop and secure new business through cold calling, networking, lead follow-up, and referralsCultivate and expand relationships with existing customers to uncover additional sales opportunitiesMaintain a deep understanding of FW Walton's full range of products and servicesAttend industry training sessions, trade shows, and educational seminars to stay current with market trendsCollaborate with inside sales and operations teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionContribute to sales strategies and assist in developing initiatives to meet sales goalsGenerate and deliver accurate project estimates and price quotes in a timely mannerBuild long-term, trust-based relationships with clients across the commercial construction industryMaintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activity, and performance metricsPerform other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSMinimum of 5 years' experience in outside sales, preferably in the commercial roofing industry is a plusStrong understanding of commercial roofing systems, waterproofing, construction and materialsFamiliarity with construction processes; ability to read blueprints and specifications is a plusHighly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team settingExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a professional demeanorProficient with Microsoft Office and general computer useStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyValid driver's license and reliable transportationPrevious customer service or front-line sales experience requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5 years or more of experience in outside salesBackground in commercial roofing salesAssociate degree or higherLocation: San Antonio, TX and Surrounding Areas (e.g., New Braunfels, Boerne, Schertz, and nearby communities)FW Walton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
