This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex network issues, working with enterprise infrastructure, and serving as a go-to technical expert within a fast-paced operations environment.You’ll play a key role in maintaining secure, stable, and high-performing network systems while supporting mission-critical operations across a large-scale infrastructure environment.What You’ll Be DoingNetwork Engineering & SupportConfigure, maintain, and upgrade enterprise network infrastructureTroubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, and performance problemsSupport routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networkingMonitor network health and ensure reliable system performanceServe as an escalation point for advanced network-related issuesSecurity & InfrastructureHelp maintain secure and compliant network environmentsApply updates, patches, and configuration improvementsSupport hybrid infrastructure and voice-integrated environmentsAssist with firewall management and advanced troubleshootingCollaboration & DocumentationMaintain network documentation and diagramsWork closely with infrastructure and support teamsShare technical knowledge and provide guidance to junior team membersSupport operational improvement initiativesTechnology EnvironmentCisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and VPN TechnologiesPalo Alto Firewalls & XDRCisco MerakiFortinet / FortiGateCitrix NetScalerEnterprise Network Monitoring ToolsHybrid Infrastructure EnvironmentsRequired Qualifications10+ years of hands-on network engineering experienceStrong experience with:Cisco routing & switchingCisco firewalls and VPN technologiesEnterprise network administration5+ years working with Palo Alto firewalls2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDRStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExperience supporting large-scale or enterprise environmentsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred QualificationsExperience with wireless networking and hybrid cloud environmentsFamiliarity with enterprise monitoring and tracing toolsKnowledge of core network architectureCertifications such as:CCNACCNPWhat Makes Someone Successful in This RoleStrong hands-on networking backgroundComfortable handling high-priority production issuesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPassion for maintaining secure and reliable infrastructureAdditional InformationFully onsite role in Blythewood, SCOccasional travel to nearby office locations may be requiredAfter-hours or weekend support may be needed during outages or critical incidents
