Title Clerk & Customer Service RepresentativeThe Title Clerk & Customer Service Representative position will be responsible for the daily processing of vehicle titles. The Title Clerk & Customer Service Representative person will maintain file documentation, update customers on title status, and maintain accurate records of vehicle titling within company guidelines. The Title Clerk & Customer Service Representative person will be the face of the company through face to face and vocal interactions with all levels of customers which range from the general public to high level managers of organizations. This position is ideal for someone who is analytical similar to a book keeper, lower level accountant or someone who is familiar with reading contracts.Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Data EntryAnswer incoming phone callsTitle transfers to the receiving dealershipFiling - Maintain title bin filing as necessaryStrong oral and written communication skillsProcess vehicle titles in accordance with state guidelinesTaking payments from customers – cash, check, floor planMust communicate professionally with car dealers for missing documents, as well as keeping detailed notesProcessing incoming and outgoing mailContact banks and dealerships to obtain lien releases and power of attorneyApply for repo titlesResearch missing and/or incorrect title paperwork and determine proper resolve in a timely mannerHigh level of organizational skills and attention to detailPrioritizing and multitaskingCommunicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues dailyResolve titling issues as necessaryKeep track of floor planning customersQualifications include:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredStrong verbal and written communication and interaction skills requiredAbility to sit, stand, climb stairs, squat, knee and walk for prolonged periods of time, must be able to lift 5-10 pounds.
