**Weekly Hours:** 40**Role Number:** 200628830-0836**Summary**Engineering Project Manager within the Connector Product Design organization is responsible for managing the development and implementation process with our engineering teams**Description**The role entails managing the design and development of connectors (e.g. USB, HDMI, Power, Lightning, etc.) for a variety of Apple products, driving day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives and focusing on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation.**Minimum Qualifications**+ BS ME degree or equivalent required, MBA nice to have+ Several years of project management experience+ Experience and familiarity with consumer electronic industry**Preferred Qualifications**+ Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills+ Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience+ Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities+ Understands rapid development cycles and is adaptable in the face of ambiguity+ Redirect pitfalls and develop improved course of action+ Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes+ Experience interfacing with product design, operations, cross-functional teams and managing international vendors+ Combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering delivering products comprised of various materials and high esthetic qualityApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
