Word Processor - Charlotte
Winstead PC is seeking an experienced Word Processor to join our Charlotte office. This role provides high-level document production support with a strong emphasis on document automation for complex transactional matters.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, edit, and format a variety of legal transactional documents (loan agreements, closing binders, financing documents, etc.)Design, update, and maintain automated document templates using Microsoft Word and other platforms as neededCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to implement document automation solutions to streamline workflowMaintain confidentiality and uphold data security standardsProofread documents for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errorsTroubleshoot document issues and provide technical supportQualifications:Previous experience in a legal environment, preferably in real estate finance or transactional lawAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, including track changes, advanced formatting, and template creationExperience with Contract Express, HotDocs, or similar document automation toolsFamiliarity with document management systems (NetDocuments preferred)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-volume environmentDetail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staffExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn new software and adapt to evolving workflows
