Junior Civil Construction Estimator / Takeoff Technician

Job Description We are looking for a Junior Estimator / Takeoff Technician to support our estimating department in preparing bids for civil and site development projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in construction estimating. Responsibilities• Perform quantity takeoffs from civil drawings • Assist senior estimators with bid preparation • Organize subcontractor quotes and bid documents • Maintain estimating spreadsheets and bid databases • Review plans and specifications for scope requirements • Assist with cost comparisons and bid analysis • Support the estimating team during bid submissions Qualifications• 1–3 years of construction experience or related education • Ability to read civil plans (preferred but not required) • Strong attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong organizational skills Preferred• Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or Agtek • Construction management or civil engineering coursework • Field experience in civil construction Compensation & Benefits• Competitive salary• Training and career development opportunities • Health insurance • Paid time off • Opportunity for advancementCompany DescriptionRiver Front LLC is a fully integrated civil construction contractor and recycling operation that focuses on people, process, product and performance.
