Job Title: Controls EngineerLocation: Mapleton, ILLongterm ContractJob SummarySeeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to support validation, documentation, and safety activities across a manufacturing facility.Key ResponsibilitiesValidate installation and configuration of control systemsWork with operators to understand work cell tasks and workflowsCreate and maintain machine/process documentation (SOPs, work instructions)Support safety checks and compliance (preferred)Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and system validationEquipmentCore making machines, VTCs, blast cells, robotic handling systems, induction furnacesRequirements3+ years in industrial controls / manufacturing environmentExperience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)Hands-on shop floor experience with machineryExperience in commissioning, FAT/SAT, or validationStrong documentation skillsPreferredMachine safety / LOTO / risk assessment experienceExposure to robotics or automated systemsWork SetupOn-site role in a large manufacturing facility
