Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity Michigan Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide night call and weekend coverage within a Level I trauma, hospital-based practice. Position Details:* Adult patient population * Provide cardiothoracic surgical care including cardiac and general thoracic procedures * Coverage includes primarily weekend call (Friday evening through Monday morning) with potential for one additional week of call per month * Approximately one surgical case per weekend * Dedicated daytime access to two cardiovascular surgery operating rooms * EMR: EpicRequired Procedures:* Adult cardiac surgery including CABG and valve repair/replacement * General thoracic surgery including lung biopsy, lung resection, pneumonectomy, and mediastinal procedures * Tube thoracostomy, pericardial window, thoracotomy, and decorticationRequirements:* Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery * Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain * BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required * Clean malpractice and license history preferred * NPDB self-query required at presentationAdditional Details:* Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days * Travel and lodging accommodations are providedThis opportunity offers coverage within a high-acuity trauma center supported by a dedicated cardiovascular surgical team. by Jobble
