OverviewThe Division of Neonatology at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City is seeking board certified or eligible Neonatologists to provide clinical care at the level III NICU at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, St. Joseph campus in Wichita, Kansas. The duties of the position involve both leadership and clinical service, with opportunities for outreach and education. Interested candidates should have an interest in and evidence of scholarly pursuits, including education and quality improvement initiatives. Educational opportunities are available through the Family Medicine Residency program at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.Teleconferencing allows participation in Children’s Mercy educational activities and conferences. Colleagues in Kansas City are accessible for professional discussions and consultation.The Children’s Mercy – Kansas City Division of Neonatology includes 37 neonatologists and offers the opportunity for candidates to find collaboration and support for an individualized professional career pathway.
