Material Handler/Forklift Operator

This role is responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring efficient workflow across the facility. This position is likely to grow into a Machine/Saw Operator position as the facility grows. You’ll be part of a *steady, hands-on environment* where your work truly matters. *Key Responsibilities* * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently * Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility * Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues * Maintain accurate inventory movements and documentation * Support production and shipping teams as needed * Ensure materials are stored properly and organized * Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines *Required Qualifications* * Previous forklift operating experience (2+ year preferred) * Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and safety awareness * Basic math and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment * Experience with inventory systems or scanners * High school diploma or equivalent *Work Environment & Physical Requirements* * Standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift * Exposure to warehouse/manufacturing conditions (noise, temperature changes) * Operating heavy equipment in tight spaces *Equal Opportunity Employer* We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.
