Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Wales, FL, for a Student Financial Services Specialist. The role involves assisting students and families with financial planning, including providing guidance on financial aid options, scholarships, and payment plans. Responsibilities include handling financial services tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance. The specialist will collaborate with students and staff to navigate financial processes, answer questions, and provide clear communication regarding financial matters. Qualifications Proficiency in understanding of higher education financial aid processes preferredEffective Communication skills to provide clear and empathetic guidance to students and familiesExperience in Financial Services and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirementsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team and commit to the values of a Christian universityBachelor’s degree preferredExperience working in higher education or student financial aid services is a plus
