JOB SUMMARYRegional Medical Imaging (RMI) is seeking a strategic and analytically driven Revenue Cycle Manager to lead financial oversight, forecasting, automation, and performance optimization across the revenue cycle.As billing complexity continues to increase due to payer variability, imaging-specific reimbursement structures, and system integrations, this role will transform revenue operations from reactive processing to predictive, data-informed performance management.This position partners closely with the Billing Team Lead, who oversees daily billing operations and staff supervision. The Revenue Cycle Manager focuses on financial analytics, KPI visibility, forecasting, automation, and long-term revenue integrity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Revenue Analytics & ForecastingDevelop predictive revenue models based on payer mix, CPT trends, and reimbursement shiftsAnalyze and forecast the impact of payer fee schedule changesReview Contracts for best performanceMonitor reimbursement trends and provide executive-level revenue insightsMonitor post adjudication audit responsibility and estimates for best accuracy and feedbackMonth-End Close OptimizationDevelop quality reconciliation and balance validation processesShorten month-end close cycle through automation and reporting controlsEnsure financial accuracy and compliance across revenue reportingKPI & Performance InfrastructureDesign and maintain real-time dashboards tracking:Net collectionsDays in ARDenial ratesClean claim ratesRefund metricsBill-to-cash TAT performanceTranslate data into actionable operational recommendationsWorkflow & Automation LeadershipWork with operational leadership to standardize and optimize refund, payment, and denial workflowsEvaluate and implement automation opportunities, including AI where appropriateImprove efficiency and accuracy within the systems in place or full system solutions.Staffing & Efficiency AnalysisEvaluate productivity metrics and staffing alignmentPartner with operational leadership on accountability and performance optimizationCompliance & Risk MitigationMonitor documentation-to-bill integrityOversee the internal audit programPartner with compliance on QPP/MIPS revenue implicationsReduce audit exposure riskQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experienceStrong financial modeling and advanced Excel/data analysis skillsDeep understanding of AR management, payer reimbursement, and denial trendsPreferredMBA or Master's degreeRadiology or imaging billing experienceExperience implementing KPI dashboards or automation toolsCore CompetenciesStrategic and systems-level thinkerData-driven decision makerProcess optimization mindsetStrong executive communication skillsCollaborative leadership approachPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
