With a client-first philosophy, they are committed to delivering every project with uncompromising quality, safety, clear communication, and a true white-glove experience.JOB SUMMARYThe Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading on-site project execution from start to finish. This includes supervising crews, managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality results. The Superintendent works closely with Senior Superintendents, Project Managers, and Field/Office teams to ensure each project is delivered on time and on budget.RESPONSIBILITIESDaily Site ManagementCoordinate and oversee all on-site construction activitiesEnsure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project scheduleTake detailed daily notes and log them in BuildertrendMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant jobsite environmentProject ExecutionReview and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturers’ dataMaintain and update 3-week lookahead and master schedulesPrepare work plans and develop temporary facilitiesGenerate and track RFIs (Requests for Information)Review submittals for compliance with plans, codes, and manufacturer specsSubcontractor OversightManage and supervise all subcontractors and laborers on-siteConduct on-site project meetings with owners, subs, and trade leadsMonitor subcontractor performance and coordinate trade sequencingEnforce quality control and safety standardsDocumentation & ReportingCreate and upload daily logs with photo documentationPrepare and distribute weekly progress reports, including:Completed work (with supporting photos)Upcoming work forecastEnter and manage data in Buildertrend (or equivalent software)Review and approve subcontractor invoices against verified progressTeam LeadershipMentor and train field personnelConduct performance evaluationsLead by example in safety, professionalism, and accountabilityRemote CoordinationManage a Remote Construction Coordinator to:Organize project documentation, logs, quotes, submittals, and change ordersHandle all administrative paperworkTrack inspections and maintain shared databasesCollaboration & Business DevelopmentWork with internal teams to forecast labor, equipment, and budgetsMaintain strong relationships with owners, vendors, and suppliersProvide feedback for continuous improvement of company systemsOptionally support preconstruction efforts, including bidding and proposalsQUALIFICATIONS7+ years of construction experience (with 3+ in luxury high-end residential)5+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacityBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred)Take a hands-on approach to managing onsite and offsite project activities, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of issues.Proactively solve problems and adapt to the evolving nature of custom home projects and design changes.Independently manage project communications, documentation, and stakeholder relationships to keep projects on track.Proficient in Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, and MS ProjectCurrent California Driver’s License and insurable driving recordCOMPANY OFFERINGSCompetitive salary and performance-based growth opportunitiesPaid Holidays and PTOGroup insurance, including health coverageProfessional development supportCollaborative and mission-driven team environmentFor immediate consideration call/text JP 909-921-8569 and send resume to jeanette.placencia@bbsi.comBBSI provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.California applicants: to see how we protect your data, visit our website at https://www.bbsi.com/privacy-notice-california-applicants
