SigParser is looking for a driven DevOps engineer who is self directed and has a can do attitude.We are a fast growing B2B SaaS startup that extracts, enriches, and acts on relationship data from email and calendar systems. Our customers are sales, marketing, and business development teams at law firms, consulting firms, financial services companies, and other relationship-driven businesses. We are growing quickly and need someone who can help us ship high quality software faster and keep our production environment running smoothly.This is an in office position in Carlsbad, CA. You will be in the office five days per week working alongside the rest of the engineering team. We are not sponsoring visas (including H1B) for this role. You must already be authorized to work in the United States.What You'll DoReview pull requests for quality, security, and maintainabilityTest PRs before they merge and help shepherd changes through QAHeavy usage of AI tools like Claude and GitHub CopilotDeploy code to production and own the release processTrack QA testing status across active work and keep things movingUpgrade and maintain our PostgreSQL database serversMonitor production logs and proactively catch errors before customers doBuild and improve our backend tooling so the team has better visibility into customer issuesBuild data quality monitoring metrics so we can spot problems in the data we extract and enrichHelp raise the bar on how we ship software as the company growsWhat We're Looking ForSoftware development process (5+ years)C# and .NET (5+ years)SQL and PostgreSQL (3+ years), including experience administering and upgrading database serversAWS (we run our infrastructure here)GitHub (PR workflows, Actions, branch protections)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release managementExperience monitoring production systems and triaging log dataComfort with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React (you don't need to be a frontend specialist, but you should be able to read and test the full stack)Strong written communication. A lot of DevOps work is making the invisible visible to the rest of the team.Nice to HaveTerraform or other infrastructure as code experienceExperience with observability tooling (logs, metrics, traces)Background in a small startup environment where you wore multiple hatsHow We WorkWe are agile in the truest sense of the word. You'll also be expected to practice secure coding standards using such best practices as OWASP and participate in code reviews.
