Of Counsel - Real Estate Finance

We are currently working with a top Am Law 50 firm that is looking to bring on an Of Counsel onto their established Real Estate Finance team in NYC.In this role, you will have the opportunity to advise clients on the full spectrum of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, development, and leasing of high‑value asset classes, often involving highly sophisticated structures.Their team represents institutional investors, private equity funds, developers, REITs, lenders, and corporate occupiers in both domestic and cross‑border matters.What they are looking for:Mid‑level Associates or Of Counsel with 5+ years of experienceExperience in acquisitions, dispositions, construction and permanent financing, representing lenders and borrowers, joint venturesExperience in portfolio transactions, REITs, and real estate fundsExperience in equity joint venture investments, structuring, and entity formationFamiliarity with transactions involving all principal asset types - residential, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, and landMust have exposure to both lender‑ and borrower‑side work (majority lender‑side is the preference)
