Additionally, we assist clients in monitoring outcomes, optimizing execution, and managing operational functions to achieve excellence and long-term success.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role with occasional travel for a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist - Utilities based in Akron, OH. The specialist will be responsible for evaluating potential acquisitions, conducting due diligence, analyzing financial data, and creating investment strategies. The role includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate strategies and facilitating seamless mergers and integration processes. Regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership will also be required.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills for evaluating data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making processes.Experience in Finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.Expertise in performing Due Diligence and conducting in-depth evaluation of potential mergers or acquisitions.Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices relevant to mergers and acquisitions.Knowledge and understanding of Investments, including risk assessment and portfolio management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.Familiarity with the utilities industry and its regulatory landscape is an advantage.
