Ankeny Vineyard is hiring for a line cook position in our kitchen as part of our tasting room located in south Salem. We are a small, family owned and operated vineyard open 5 days a week. We offer small plates, wood fired pizzas and desserts along with some catering event and special dinner menus created by our head chef. This position is fast-paced and for someone who can hustle, be efficient, as well as organized. Being a team player with a positive attitude is a must, as well as the ability to work effectively independently, taking initiative to get things done, showing up on time and having reliable transportation. While this position is not one that interacts with guests often, it is a position critical to every guest experience to ensure high quality food, health and cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant. Our business hours are Wednesday + Thursday 12-7, Friday + Saturday 12-8 and Sunday 12-6. Our kitchen operates Wednesday-Sunday for various hours for prep and production. Required Qualifications: -Food Handlers Card -3 years experience in a commercial kitchen -Basic knowledge of sauces, dressings, cooking proteins and vegetables We are willing to train the right person to join our tight knit crew.
