Lab Technician

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations, including chemical analysis, quality control, and sample testing. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and effective collaboration with team members.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform chlorine monitoring and chemical analysis using wet chemistry techniquesConduct daily grading of salt stock piles and sample inspectionsPrepare chemical solutions according to established formulasPerform routine lab testing, including titrations and analysis of daily samplesMaintain accurate and organized documentation (both paper and electronic) for traceabilityConduct quality control inspections on raw materials and finished productsPull and test samples from production lines to ensure compliance with standardsMaintain a clean and organized laboratory workspaceCollaborate with other lab technicians and team members on shiftRequired Skills & ExperienceWet chemistry and chemical analysis experienceKnowledge of GMP, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control practicesExperience with lab testing, including titration and sample analysisStrong documentation and data entry skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamQualificationsMinimum of 1+ year of experience in a laboratory setting (non-medical required)Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a daily basisStrong communication skills and ability to learn quicklyJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of NEW IBERIA, LA.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
