Ticket Sales + Sponsorship Intern (Full Season: September - April)
The Reading Royals are looking for a motivated, hard-working individual who wants real experience in sports sales. As a full season Ticket Sales + Sponsorship Intern, you'll be in the trenches making calls, generating revenue, and learning what it takes to succeed in this industry. This internship has been a stepping stone for past interns into full-time roles with the Royals and other teams across the sports industry.Job Duties:Assist in selling full season ticket plans, partial plans, group tickets, fundraising packages, and sponsorship opportunitiesMake a minimum of 30 outbound sales calls per day with guidance from the supervisorSupport the service and retention of season ticket holders, sponsors, and group leadersProvide customer service to fans on game nights while assisting with overall game operationsGain a working knowledge of Ticketmaster and internal systemsAssist with printing and distributing Will Call tickets on game nightsProcess incoming ticket orders and paymentsCollect, input, and manage data within the CRM systemAssist with sponsor activations and in-game elements when neededAdditional responsibilities as assigned by the Ticket Sales CoordinatorQualifications and Requirements:Internship eligible for college creditEnrolled in a Business, Sports Management, or related degree programInterest in ticket sales, sponsorship, and the sports industryStrong communication skills and willingness to make outbound sales callsAbility to work nights, weekends, and all home games (September through April)Self-motivated with a strong work ethic in a team environmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:Why do you think you would be good in this role?I understand this is an unpaid position.This sales role require constant outbound outreach.
