Pay may vary by location; for this position, the annual base salary target range is $25 - $28/hr, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission depending on the role.Position SummaryPerform tests and/or measurement tasks for the Environmental department. Environmental: The branch of mechanics that deals with changes in the environment, including temperature, pressure and humidity.Core Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToTest Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipmentPerform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent dataData Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program ManagerLab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing suppliesOther - Perform other duties as assignedCore RequirementsUnder General Supervision, can perform certain recurring work independentlyRegular interaction with clients Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test resultsComprehensive knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; working knowledge of refrigeration/thermal systemsAble to use all standard Environmental equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; basic MS Office skills; able to understand AC/DC circuitsMinimum Education And ExperienceHS Diploma or GED; AA or AS degree preferred2-6 Years of experience Working ConditionsTest lab with exposure to sudden, loud noisesPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
