Building Office Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Building Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within commercial office environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial and custodial services, with a focus on ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming workspace. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently. Prior experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is highly valued to support the upkeep of our facilities. Will also need to run small errands for the company. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting office spaces, restrooms, and common areas Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing and other floor care techniques Handle trash removal and recycling procedures regularly Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing as needed Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens Run errands to pick up supplies and items Occasionally cook items in the office kitchen Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety standards Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report issues requiring professional repair Support additional custodial duties related to building upkeep or special projects as assigned Requirements Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred Knowledge of floor care including buffing and polishing techniques Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Prior experience in residential painting or porter roles is advantageous but not required Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean environment for all building occupants Have own vehicle Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
