Masonry Special Inspector

JOB DESCRIPTION JOADEM Corporation is a NY Licensed Class 1 Special Inspection and Materials Testing Agency who is dedicated to providing Quality Control/Quality Assurance Inspection services to our wide ranged client. We are currently looking for a Masonry Inspector (ICC Masonry) QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 1 year of experience inspecting construction work in NYC, or equivalent. Bachelors in Civil Engineering (A Plus) Familiarity with Chapter 17 of the NYC Building Code. Fall protection, scaffolding and ladders, work-zone safety ( A Plus) 30-hour OSHA construction safety SFRM Certificate (A Plus) Ability to read and navigate contract drawings, submittals, specs, etc Ability to obtain a Port Authority SWAC/SIDA Badge Currently hold a valid certification in the following: ICC Masonry Special Inspector We do offer competitive salary and benefits; exceptional learning opportunities, Trainings, career growth, and stability; and the chance to make a difference in our exciting firm environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Physical Setting: Construction site Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Experience: Construction inspection: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) ICC Masonry Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
