Substitute Personal Care Aide

Responsibilities Scope of Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist students with on-task behavior and completion of teacher assigned tasksAssist students with questions regarding assignmentsAccompany/escort students in exploratory classes and therapy sessions as neededSupervise independent or small group workAssist in necessary record keeping including data collection (ie. Applied Behavior Analysis)Assist in preparation of instructional materials and supplies and clean upAdminister alternative testing accommodations when neededProctor examsEscort students to various parts of the buildingAssist with student arrival and departureAttend to students physical needs including, toileting, lifting for transfers to/from wheelchairAttend to students medical needs under direction of school nurseMonitor and implement behavior intervention plansAccompany students and participate in all physical activities including APE and SwimmingFollow directions of classroom teacher, therapists or other professional staffWill complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
