Structural Engineering Firm – Riverside, CA Position: Mid‑Level Structural Engineer (Project Engineer / Civil Engineer II – Structural) Experience: 4–6 Years | Licensed P.E. RequiredWe are seeking a Mid‑Level Structural Engineer with strong technical skills and experience delivering building projects in California. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working directly with the Principal Structural Engineer on education, municipal, and commercial projects.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform complete structural calculation packages for assigned projects.Develop sound engineering decisions and assist in resolving design challenges.Ensure conformance with applicable codes, standards, and internal QA procedures.Utilize structural software such as Enercalc, RISA, RAM, and Excel (not all required).Review and respond to DSA comments and plan check corrections.Coordinate structural plans with Architectural and MEP drawings.Provide clear electronic markups for drafting staff and assist with DSA submittal packages.Communicate effectively, manage deadlines, and work under the direction of the Owner/Principal.Review RFIs, submittals, and field questions during construction.
