Position Title: Creative StrategistLocation: [Remote]Department: Marketing / CreativeReports To: Head of Marketing / Creative DirectorSalary: 90,000 - 100,000Position OverviewWe are seeking a performance-driven Creative Strategist to lead the development, execution, and optimization of data-informed marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand expansion for our DTC brand. This role blends creative ideation with performance marketing strategy, creator ecosystem management, content licensing, and cross-channel asset development. The Creative Strategist serves as the primary creative point of contact for paid acquisition efforts, ensuring scalable, high-converting assets across Meta and emerging growth channels. The ideal candidate combines deep consumer psychology, storytelling expertise, and testing rigor with strong operational ownership to support aggressive performance goals.Key ResponsibilitiesConcept DevelopmentGenerate high-impact creative concepts and campaign ideas for paid social and digital acquisition channelsDevelop performance-driven messaging frameworks aligned with funnel stage (awareness, consideration, conversion, retention)Frame creative around customer pain points, emotional triggers, objections, and urgency-based storytellingTranslate performance insights into new creative hypotheses and scalable testing roadmapsAd Scriptwriting & Messaging Write and refine scroll-stopping hooks, UGC scripts, influencer scripts, and founder-led narrativesDevelop Problem-Solution-Transformation story arcsCraft compelling CTAs and headlines optimized for click-through and conversionTailor messaging to specific audience segments (e.g., toxin-conscious parents, eco-focused households, first-time buyers)Creative Testing & Performance Optimization Build and manage creative testing matrices (hooks, formats, CTAs, lengths, offers)Collaborate closely with media buyers to assess creative performance and iterate based on dataIdentify creative fatigue and proactively initiate refresh conceptsTranslate performance metrics into actionable creative pivotsCreator & Influencer Ecosystem Management Own end-to-end creator communication from outreach and onboarding to feedback and final approvalsDevelop tailored creative briefs aligned with platform-native best practices and testing hypothesesManage contracts, usage rights, licensing terms, and documentationCoordinate with finance to ensure timely and accurate creator paymentsOversee whitelisting partnerships and optimize creator assets for paid performanceTikTok Content Licensing & Asset Acquisition Identify high-performing organic TikTok content aligned with brand messaging and audience resonanceNegotiate licensing agreements and paid usage rightsRepurpose licensed content into Meta-native paid acquisition assetsTest cross-platform creative portability to drive efficient customer acquisitionPartner Channel Creative Development Serve as creative point of contact for external growth partnersDevelop creative assets tailored to each partner platform's format and audienceTranslate performance messaging into channel-specific acquisition campaignsSupport additional revenue streams through strategic creative executionCross-Functional Collaboration Partner with growth marketers, media buyers, designers, video editors, and content creators to bring campaign ideas to lifeAct as the creative voice in weekly media and growth syncsProvide performance insights and recommend campaign status, dependencies, and deadlinesRequirements 3-5 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or brand advertising (preferably in a DTC or eCommerce environment)Proven track record of creating performance-driven marketing campaigns with measurable ROIStrong understanding of consumer psychology, storytelling, and the digital funnelComfortable interpreting data and translating insights into creative directionExperience working closely with media buyers, content creators, and production teamsExceptional communication and presentation skillsProficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Creative Center, and similar platforms is a plusPreferred Qualifications Experience with A/B testing and rapid iteration in a fast-paced environmentStrong portfolio showcasing successful DTC or eCommerce campaignsFamiliarity with tools such as Figma, Notion, Airtable, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar project management and collaboration platformsBackground in copywriting, branding, or visual storytellingExperience managing creator partnerships, including briefing, performance feedback, and asset optimizationExperience negotiating
