Pouching Machine Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pouching Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pouching machines that package products efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and quality is maintained throughout the process. Responsibilities Operate pouching machines to package products according to specified standards and production schedules. Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation and product quality. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform minor repairs using hand tools or industrial equipment troubleshooting techniques. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards in production. Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of industrial equipment. Document production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine downtime, and maintenance activities for quality control records. Skills Proven experience operating packaging or pouching machinery in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with GMP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to ensure compliance during production processes. Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for minor repairs or adjustments on machinery. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording production data accurately. Experience with warehouse operations including forklift certification and pallet jack handling is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper use of PPE to promote a safe workplace.
