Senior Tax Accountant, CPA - Remote Based in Sandy Springs, GA, we are a niche CPA firm providing tax, accounting and financial planning advisory services to our closely held business, high-net worth, high-income clients. Your Key Responsibilities Prepares and reviews complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, non‑profits, and estates Accounting preparation for closely held businesses Prepare income and business tax planning projections and discuss recommendations Conduct tax research and correspondence with taxing authorities Performs thorough self‑review to ensure accuracy and completeness of work Builds the skills of interns and staff through thoughtful delegation and career‑focused training Offers timely, constructive feedback to staff at all levels Additional duties as assigned Skills for Success Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Taxation is required Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, completed or in progress, preferred Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience CPA designation strongly preferred; CPA eligibility required Strong multi-tasking abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Experience with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks is a plus What We Offer 401(k) Matching Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Continuing education Professional memberships "Dress your Day" policy About HDWK HDWK is a public accounting firm founded in 1985.
