To accomplish this mission, all instructors will utilize their talents, skills, andabilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort under the guidance and supervisionof the Director of Education/ Dean/ Program Chair, or his or her designee.Successful candidates in this role will reside in the Anamosa, IA area or within acommutable distance.What to expect in this role:Provide an engaging learning environment by hands-on activities and with open and timely communicationProvide students with appropriate guidance regarding academic excellencePartner with advisors and leadership on student concerns, resolution, retention, and outcomes.Remain current with trends, techniques, and technology.Maintenance of a professional development plan.Additional duties as may be assigned by the School.Experience:BSN required; MSN preferredActive, unencumbered state RN licensure with 2 years of clinical experienceMedical-surgical experience requiredHigher education teaching experience is preferred.What we're looking for:Exceptional computer skills.Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style and method to suit different audiences.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Ability to work in a multicultural environment, across diverse teams, departments, and Schools.Additional Information:Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. A typical adjunct in the School of Nursing can expect to receive $3300 per full 10-week course.
