Manager -Tech Ops Engineering

Sr Manager, Technology Operations Engineering executes strategic technical service plans, drives adoption of innovative practices, directs system and network maintenance, manages complex projects, and fosters a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment aligned with business objectives. Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience Knowledge of network protocols and technologies Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks Work Experience: Experience in cloud administration, IT asset management and automation tools and / or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) in a technology or financial services organization Experience in leading and mentoring technology operations teams Expertise in management of multiple technology operations teams within a technology environment with a strong knowledge of relevant technologies Experience in managing and maintaining technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services Experience in system administration, network configuration, and troubleshooting Experience in technology operations work Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Licenses and Certifications: Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ is a plus Public Cloud certification is a plus Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
