Construction Site Supervisor

## Job Summary The Site Supervisor oversees the construction of a South Shore Habitat for Humanity project in a manner consistent with the criteria established by Habitat for Humanity International. He/she reports material needs and work progress to the Construction Manager on a weekly basis. He/she trains and supervises volunteer construction crews, coordinates skilled contractors, and works with the Family Partners on the work site. MUST HAVE A MASSACHUSETTS CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISORS LICENSE TO APPLY. Responsibilities · Learn and maintain the standards set by South Shore Habitat for Humanity for building high quality, simple affordable homes. · Construct the house according to blueprints and local building codes in a timely manner. · Coordinate the work-day objectives with the Construction Manager, in advance. · Coordinate the ordering of all materials, tools, layout and engineering as required for the workday, in advance, with the Construction Manager. · Review the requirements and number of volunteers needed with the Construction Manager and the Volunteer Coordinator weekly. · Complete the Weekly Site Log/Construction Report on the progress of the day and the requirements of the next workday and submit to Construction Manager. · Attend Construction Committee meetings. · Ensure compliance with Workday Orientation procedures; communicate safety procedures. · Coordinate the skills of the volunteers with the task at hand. Ensure that all volunteers have appropriate tasks and are having a positive experience. · Ensure that worksite is clean and safe at all times. · Coordinate work to ensure project milestones are met and home is complete on time. Qualifications: · Massachusetts Construction Site Supervisors License · Three years of experience in building one and two-family homes · Ability to read building blueprints. · Experienced in training and coaching individuals or groups in construction tasks. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift License/Certification: Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License (Required) Ability to Commute: Easton, MA (Required) Work Location: In person
