Part-Time School Nurse

Pike School, Andover, MA - School Nurse (Part‑Time) The Pike School is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse (RN), working 12 hours per week for the 2026 - 2027 school year to promote and support the health, safety, and emotional wellness of all students and staff. Flexibility of hours between 7:45 am - 3:45 pm, not less than 4 hours a day, 2-3 days a week. This is a 10 month position, starting mid/late August through mid/late June.Pike is an independent, Pre‑Kindergarten through Grade 9 coeducational day school located on 35 woodland acres in Andover, Massachusetts. Our community is vibrant, supportive, and inclusive, fostering lifelong social, emotional, mental, and physical wellness through comprehensive programming designed to meet the needs of all Pike students and employees.Responsibilities Provide for the optimal health and safety of students and staff.Deliver nursing assessment, care, and treatment for illness or injury.Follow the principles and practices outlined in the State and National Association of School Nurses Scope and Standards of Practice.Collaborate with Pike colleagues to support the social and emotional health of students and staff.Provide health and safety education to students and staff.Collect, maintain, and evaluate health data for students and staff using electronic health records (Magnus).Communicate effectively with students, families, administrators, colleagues, health care providers, and outside agencies.Promote and assist in the control of communicable disease.Adhere to all Pike rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Pike Handbook. QualificationsLicensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.Previous school nursing or pediatric nursing experience preferred.This position is considered a limited part-time employee and not eligible for benefits.Compensation details: 42.5-42.5 Hourly WagePIa4faac1f2945-37483-40099591
