A home infusion pharmacy requires experienced pharmacist coverage for a three-week leave of absence. This per diem assignment provides essential support to maintain patient care during the temporary staffing gap.Location:Rowlett, TX (with primary operations in Houston) Schedule/Hours:Monday through FridayShift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PMDuration: Monday, 2/16 through Friday, 3/6 Key Responsibilities:Prepare and verify sterile compounded intravenous (IV) admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standardsEnsure all pharmacy operations meet regulatory guidelinesUtilize CareTend software to manage medication orders and documentation; training available if unfamiliar Qualifications:Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standingIV Certification requiredRecent and solid experience with sterile compounding and intravenous admixture preparation Candidate Profile:Detail-oriented and committed to patient safetyAble to work independently in a sterile compounding environmentStrong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teamsThis role is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with IV certification seeking short-term per diem work.
