Construction Project Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial and public works projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience managing complex construction projects, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
Responsibilities
Manage large-scale commercial and public works construction projects from inception through completion.
Lead project planning meetings to define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field staff, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Oversee project budgets, job costing, forecasting, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Review contracts, plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Manage project scope changes and ensure proper documentation and communication.
Conduct regular site visits and facilitate owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.
Maintain accurate daily job logs and provide weekly project updates.
Utilize Buildertrend and other project management software to monitor project progress, scheduling, and team communication.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract requirements, quality standards, and applicable public works regulations.
Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
8-10 years of experience managing large-scale commercial construction and public works projects.
Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously with budgets, schedules, and field operations.
Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and building envelope systems, including windows, siding, flashing, waterproofing, and exterior assemblies.
Experience with public works contracting, prevailing wage requirements, and public agency coordination preferred.
Restoration and occupied-building renovation experience is a plus.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management software.
Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned projects and delivering successful outcomes.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
