People who want to make a difference.Purpose and ScopeThe Order Fulfillment Representative plays a critical role in ensuring seamless execution from customer order to delivery. This position bridges customer demand with plant operations, managing order accuracy, inventory, production coordination, and logistics to deliver high-quality products on time. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across functions.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, shipments, and delivery statusManage and maintain accurate customer requirements and orders within SAPResolve discrepancies between customer orders, contracts, and system dataDevelop and respond to customer quotations and order-related requestsAnalyze customer forecasts and translate demand into production requirementsCoordinate with manufacturing and materials teams to align production schedules with customer needsMonitor customer schedules and adjust plans to meet changing demandUnderstand plant capabilities, capacity constraints, and operational limitationsMonitor and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supplyIdentify and address supply chain variances and implement corrective actionsSupport raw material planning, including expediting orders and managing supplier escalationsMaintain FIFO practices and monitor obsolete or slow-moving inventoryPerform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory processesCoordinate shipments to ensure on-time and accurate delivery to customersOversee packaging, shipping documentation, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirementsAct as the main point of contact for freight carriers and logistics partnersReview and optimize transportation costs and shipping methodsConduct ongoing analysis of inventory, delivery performance, and data accuracyAudit and maintain pricing and surcharge data within SAPIdentify system, process, or lead-time improvements and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutionsSupport audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiativesPartner with internal teams including Sales, Operations, Materials, Purchasing, and ITAct as a liaison for system, hardware, and process-related issuesProvide backup support for the Order Fulfillment and Shipping and Receiving teams as neededTechnical/Functional SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSignificant experience with SAP or other ERP systemKnowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and production planning conceptsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentIntermediate level or above use in Microsoft Office Suite apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).EducationMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent with five years of experience in materials or supply chain management.Associates Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus two years of experience in materials or supply chain management.Previous Job ExperiencesDirect customer contact experience, in sales or customer service.Experience with plant scheduling.Inventory management and materials flow skills.SAP experience.CORE experience preferred.Knowledge of and ability to comply with forklift certification.Relocation is not being offered for this position
